It had a lot of great rich flavors (can't remember them all right now). What I remember very well was how smooth and not bitter it was. I am not a hard core stout drinker but I loved this stout!

I wasn't 5th place in that competition, as places are not awarded for anything except the top three. I was, however, in the final five beers at the BOS table... according to the head steward, who was watching, they "kept coming back" to it but, in the end, it wasn't good enough to place. Maybe next year!

Hi Sweetie,
You know a lot of my green thumb must have rubbed off, because you're doing a great job! I looks wonderful...by the way, here are some of the missing pieces.

In the front on the left of the plot are loriope...they get thing purple stalks in summer and early fall.
On the far left should be Gay Feathers...they will also probably get tall purpurple tufts. The stalk should resemble a feather.
In the back, the colorful anuals are Coleus, and they won't be 6 foot tall unless you live down here in the South...but they should be more than 6". They'll maybe get to be 1-2 feet tall...hopefully.

Don't forget to feed monthly.

Thanks for the tour, you know I enjoyed it and wish I could see even more.

Your whole site has lots of great info.

Ryan, my neighbor here at work went to another beer and food paring event, but didn't bring in to me the listing of items this time. Maybe next time I'll get her to give it to me.

Well, enjoy and I'll keep in touch...maybe not in writing, but definitely by phone...more my speed!
Love, Mom

Thanks! I'm really proud of the work Ryan and I have done this year. I have not even a quarter of the green thumbs of my mom and aunt, but I'd like to think some of their skills rubbed off on me!

Wow, sorry to hear that. I've never heard of solder not lasting a long time, sounds to me like a major corner was cut. What are your symptoms? It's possible that HP is just bullshitting you into paying them for a new board, or to buy a new notebook.

I can see screen size being important to most people, I won't use anything less than a 15.4" personally. A 13" screen just isn't big enough to accommodate my workflow.

Hope SD is treating you well, and say hi to Dennis for me!.

Our HP laptop is dying...apparently the solder on the motherboard did not last as long as expected and now the computer no longer recognizes the wireless card. AND, even though HP recognizes there is an issue (it's on their website) they have, so far, refused to fix it (unless we pay). I've also been told (by HP) that this is just the first thing to go, eventually the computer will no longer boot. We've already looked into getting a Mac - same RAM, bigger hard drive, so what if it has a smaller screen? ARGH......!!!!
